Should schools be teaching computer coding?
The Kahn Academy is providing free one-hour training for anyone who wants to learn the rudimentary elements of computer coding. If even the phrase "computer coding" confuses you, think Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. These are the guys who used numbers to create remarkable computer programs that have changed the world.
With minor understanding of coding, you can go beyond basic templates on web sites and blogs and even begin creating your own applications.
Many educators believe we should be teaching computer coding in school, so our students, who live in a digital world, will have more career opportunities.
What do you think?
