Google Hangout makes for perfect ROLE chat
Several Indiana University education students read my book, Role Reversal, as part of an education class, and they had questions about results-only learning. When IU senior, Jacob Smalley, emailed to tell me that he and a few peers wanted to discuss feedback and technology integration, we decided a Google Hangout was in order.
This video captures excerpts from the 30-minute hangout.
Special thanks to Jake, Matt and Rachel for reaching out to me and participating in this dialogue. You can see the entire Google Hangout here.
Thank God you didn't leave education! Btw, are you on Twitter as well? I am thinking of a Google hangout this weekend during my class on integrating technology in English language teaching.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing: could I get the names of the two authors you mentioned?
Hey Stephan, thanks for the kind words. You can find me on Twitter @markbarnes19.
DeleteThe authors I mention are Daniel Pink (check out his book Drive) and Alfie Kohn (The Homework Myth and Beyond Discipline).
Good luck with your Google Hangout.
